Precious

This was another one from May 30 and, as disappointed as I was with “Rainbow,” I’m thrilled with this one.

Having figured out that the paint delivery method would work and one way not to implement it, my main goal with this one was to play with colors and I think it turned out beautifully.

The gold and bronze have some thin lines that almost seem like chains.  The silver has some flecks that I really like.  All of the colors, even the darker copper, pop off the black canvas.

I also made a last minute change as I was getting the rig set up and decided to put the canvas at an angle.  Even that turned out wonderfully.

I love this one, if that wasn’t painfully obvious.  I don’t even have anything to learn from it.  It was just a great success.
